I really liked this story even though it was confusing at se points but what I got was that one mistake that you make right now or that you have made in the past can come back to you in the future and haunt you down, like when you stepped on the mouse and the caveman starves and the had an entire nation for the future but since you had to step on the mouse there would be no more life's
