Final Essay
The diction and syntax are very different because they seem the same but have a very different thing. The diction is the choice of the words that the author chooses to say and what he chooses to write. Syntax is the arrangement of words that the author writes so it can be well-formatted. A lot of people think the same as of these terms because they have the same words in there definitions. The authors always had to choose the way he wants to write his story's and how he wants people to get the story. I learned a lot of terms this semester and I feel like I have also learned a lot of new things in this course and I get how to read stories now.

First Impression on Immigrants In Our Own World
The fact that the poem is very short but it brings us to the moment when we feel closed/locked up also makes me think that the bad choices we make can really bring your life down
Essay
In the past few weeks we have been focusing in a few stories that really show us a lot about life and how the past author's wanted to see life in the future. I really think that in "On Self Reliance" we really learn a lot of how Emerson wants the youth to stand out so that story comes i handy in your high school years. We learn that what ever we do right now can affect us in the future, like if we ever make a mistake that can come haunt is down in the future. The future depends on the youth because there the next generation to create new jobs or to make the world a better place because there's at least one kid right now in school that can really change the world.
One example I have from me is that I have gotten interested in stock trading and that really change my life and my future. That business can change a life real quick you just go to know on what company to invest or money and how to trade the products to different states or countries. I think if your start making money at a young age you keep trying to get more and just like Emerson its never good to give up because if you don't you grow bigger as a a person and you'll know how to work better. The choices I make in school are going to decide on what im going to do in the future because if i don't good grades ill probably regret it but im just going to have to accept that im going to have to live a simple life.
In "On Self Reliance" Emerson chooses to talk about how the future youth should be and how they should never give up. He also talks about how different the world will keep getting in each generation. That really speaks out to us students even though we all have our different ways of how you take the story. Emerson killed it because he really gets us thinking of how our future will be and how we will be in a few years from now. A lot of students start trying after they read the story because Emerson basically explains to use how messed up your future will be if you don't try to be the best you in your school years. He also explains to us on how it is never good to give up even though you're at the lowest.
In "A Sound of Thunder" Bradbury likes to choose to tell us a very complicated story that we only get if we read the whole story. He wants to let you know that we should just read the stories and get it over with so we can also learn a few more items in life. I really didn't get the story but I did get how he made Eckels a whole different person towards the end of the story. I got how Bradbury tells us that anyone can change but you have to give it your all you have to decided you you want to do in the future. Eckels was a very changing person so that can reflect on us on how we see the world and the little items we get in life.
I really enjoy reading all this stories even though i don't fully read some of them. They can really change someones life but you have to choice to get the message of the story and also choose to read them. The choices you make in life can change you to become a good or bad person it just depends what path you take and what you do in school or at your job. Choices and decisions are very important in this world and also not giving up in your goal your dream. One little choice can really make you change the world in your ways but you always have to risk something but at the end of the day the choice is yours.

My Mad Dream of an Essay
Remember that time you ate that spicy [burrito]just before you went to bed on the night before the big [CIF game]. Oh, that weird dream you had about the 2016 presidential election. When you woke up you couldn't quite remember the [epic] details, but after reading "On Self-Reliance" and "A Sound of Thunder" it's all coming back to you now.
The dream started badly. You were in line with your family at a [airport] waiting to be sent to [the immigration office]. Everywhere you looked there were posters of president-elect [Patrick], looking like a crazy [gorilla] who could eat a whole [cow].
Suddenly, there was Ralph Waldo Emerson telling you, "[write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year]." You realized that you have something to contribute to the world so you decided to [speak]. But it wasn't easy. First you had to put on a fancy [coat] and [shirt] and then you had make a [time machine] to go back in time to the [White House] so you could convince people to learn about the candidates and the [reason why wealthy people get spoken of more].
But right there in the [White House] there was a giant [dog] and it started [bark] ing at everyone. People started to [yell]. You grabbed a [pole] from a nearby [the stairs] and yelled [we have came to this world to show lol the people that don't believe in us that we can make it big without anyone's help]. Everyone stopped and listened, so you kept going.

Emerson's Child
I believe Emerson would like us to learn the way we want to learn or strive because it's our future, even though we can make a difference we can't be forced to learn something we don't want to learn. Emerson always about how we should do what we want and stop getting stuck with others. If you really want to pursue your dream you should stop listening to the people that are trying to but you down or trying to make you take bad paths. Everything depends on you though because if you really want to get somewhere in life you'll stay committed to your career and that's how Emerson wants us to be to never give up even thought it ain't easy for you.
In this era I think Emerson would be satisfied by seeing the students learn and use the Internet more at school because that is what most jobs use now-a-days. Emerson like the students to learn stuff that is related to the society so when you graduate you'll be ready and set for the real world. Since this era is mostly based on the internet, we would be able to learn new ways that we didn't know the internet cans do and we the youth can show something because the youth are underrated. As Emerson says "youth is everywhere in place" which helps the adult that anywhere our anytime there could be a youth that can change the world.
Emerson was the type of person to put one of his buddy's up and tell him to never give up because there a solution to everything in education. He brings out really strong message on to beer give up as a youth during your school years because after all those year of hard work they could really mean something to your wallet. I like this quote "do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail" because that can really help a student keep pushing to make his own business or to create something that this world has never seen before. That's one thing Emerson tried to help the youth getting an education, he tried to tell the world that the youth have some special powers in them but are to scared to bring them out. Emerson would really like to see this era change their education by giving the students more time to think what they want to do for living because there's some classes that you don't even need for your future.
I like how Emerson really tells us to never give up like if you ever fail a class he try's to explain to you on how to rise up from that fail and start gaining hope again. Emerson wouldn't really like the way that if you fail a class you have to repeat once again because in that you can really see that so students stop giving up and that person might've had some good ideas in his head. He would probably also like to see this era get rid of the textbooks because even though they have a lot of information is students get bored of that since we have all this technology we use at home and when it comes to reading most of us get lazy. "Our greatest glory is not in never failing but in rising up every time we fail", that's what a lot of people don't get that's it's never good to give up in school because if you fail a class you're basically wasting one year of your life.
I really don't think Emerson would like they way some of the teachers are teaching their students because there is some teachers out there that's aren't even respectful to their students. "The secret in education lies in respecting the student" really means a lot in this time because these students don't like to get told what to do so the teachers start getting on their bad side, even though it's the students fault in this one but the teachers should at least try to get them to understand instead of also talking back to them. This society in education is so messed up because here I our town there really isn't as much students that make it to a four year university but it all depends on how the city is and how the students starts getting involved in city trouble. Those are the facts that Emerson try's to make clear that it depend on the community or the city on what the student try's to achieve in school because if they live in a decent city there going to want a decent job, there is a few students that always try to reach the top gun and "cash out" for a better future. I learned a lot on Emerson on how the youth should never give up because we're the next generation of jobs so I will do my best to create something new in this world and never give up.

An Earth Shattering Fart
I really liked this story even though it was confusing at se points but what I got was that one mistake that you make right now or that you have made in the past can come back to you in the future and haunt you down, like when you stepped on the mouse and the caveman starves and the had an entire nation for the future but since you had to step on the mouse there would be no more life's

Emerson For The Young Buck
What I have learned from Emerson is that it is always good to speak up. When you have an idea it is best to speak up because you may have an idea that can change the world. Emerson say that even if your scared people will make fun of you for speaking up its always good to take a shot. Giving people your ideas is cool because you don't have anything to loose for speaking up.
I'm Self Reliant
what I got from this book was a lot of powerful quotes and a lot of good true statements because Emerson likes to straight the truth so the people never be sacred to speak up and loose their opportunity in becoming someone in this world
Mapping My Mind
What I like to use the mindmap for is to find the new terms or lessons we have learned in the past weeks, but I like to contribute in the mindmap by putting quotes so people never give up and keep going with their life day by day

Author in Progress
I think I did a poor job on the essay because I didn't really get much on Emerson or know much about his meanings, what I need to work on is trying to pay closer attention in class so I don't get left behind and loose the meaning of our topic

Respect My Authority
Authority is a so, so deal to me because there is some people that try to get you to do something but you can't take them serious so that's a deal you have. When an adult tells you to do something you're most likely going to do it because there adults and they always like to get respected or else they see you as a bad person. Like when a teacher asks you a question you have to respond and think about also to not make yourself look like a fool.

The Consience of the Hacker
While I was reading that story at first I felt like its was going to be about hacking computers. As I kept getting further in the story it started talking about how the people hack eachother by telling lies and different stories that aren't the truth. Some people get into trouble by some words that other people tell them but they what they don't get is that, that person is trying to see you go down.

Young Goodman Brown
When I was reading this article I was just thinking that it was going to be about being evil to the people you don't like. One example would be with the wife and his husband, the wife was really mean to her husband and they were barely married for 3 months that's weird to me cause if she don't like him when did she marry him in the first place. People can be really mean to each other just cause they think it's wrong about them but what they don't know is that they can get there selves into lot of trouble with that person or other people that might know his "enemy".

Ancient Stories
I think the text are the same because mostly all the time we are talking we're mostly always saying stories. The stories have to repeat word by word so the reader can have a clear picture of what the author is trying to explain.

The Earth on Turtle's Back
While I was reading the story I saw that in the beginning it mostly talks about the starting of this world. I also saw that a person that doesn't even know you can take their risk and help you out if your in a really dangerous situation.
